"Dr. Sameer Verma, Ph.D., Asst. Professor of Information Systems at San Francisco State University writes in: 'A student of Mine, Julie Blaustein, did her thesis on the creation and transference of value in open source. She used Mozilla as a case to do her thesis. The thesis was completed in December last year. What is interesting though is that many things pointed out to in her thesis (as of late last year) are happening now in terms of the Firefox browser.'"
